What types of works can be submitted?

Pine River Anthology features art, short English works (5,000 words or less), and short films (10 minutes or less) in its annual publication. When submitting photographs of artwork, please ensure the photos are well lit.

When is the submission deadline?

To be featured in the 2023-2024 Pine River Anthology, works must be submitted by December 9, 2023. (Late submission deadline is January 8th, 2024)

How do I know if my submission has been received?

We will email a confirmation of receipt. If you have not received a confirmation notice within a few weeks, please email us again.

When are books distributed?

Books are distributed throughout campus on Kapp Honors Day. Inquiries about obtaining a book can be directed to our email, pineriveranthology@alma.edu.

I’m interested in joining the PRA committee. How can I get involved?

Alma College students are welcome to join the Pine River Anthology committee. We meet each week during a set time, which is decided per semester. Contact the current director or email us to find out more.
